So ever since April was born she has had a hard time nursing/breast feeding. She goes through nursing strike's for a couple of days. I had no Idea what was going on. I kept thinking it was me and I was doing something wrong.
Well a couple of days ago we noticed that April's head was tilted a little to the right, I didnt think much of it seeing as she is only 3 months old. Kevin said he was a little worried so I decided to take her into her pediatrician. Turns out she has Torticollis. Her neck has muscles that are too tight on one side. I guess that is why she has never been able to nurse well. Its super painful for her the poor girl:( It breaks my heart!
I now have to do special stretches with her head/neck each day. I might even have to take her to a physical therapist. I guess we will see when we take her in for her 4 month appointment and see if its getting better. I pray it does.

Oh darn it, that is no fun! One of my nephews had this after he was born. When I babysat him, I was asked to do the neck exercies with him. It seems like it is really painful to the baby but I think it is mostly just really uncomfortable and awkward for them. He is great now and they only had to do the exercies with him for a few months. Let me know if there is anything I can do!
