Torticollis

So ever since April was born she has had a hard time nursing/breast feeding. She goes through nursing strike's for a couple of days. I had no Idea what was going on. I kept thinking it was me and I was doing something wrong.
Well a couple of days ago we noticed that April's head was tilted a little to the right, I didnt think much of it seeing as she is only 3 months old. Kevin said he was a little worried so I decided to take her into her pediatrician. Turns out she has Torticollis. Her neck has muscles that are too tight on one side. I guess that is why she has never been able to nurse well. Its super painful for her the poor girl:( It breaks my heart!
I now have to do special stretches with her head/neck each day. I might even have to take her to a physical therapist. I guess we will see when we take her in for her 4 month appointment and see if its getting better. I pray it does.

April is 2 months!

Today was April's 2 month appointment. She is actually 2 months and 2 weeks old. Well it hasnt exactly been the best of days lol. It all started when I got to April's doctors appointment at the Payson office, when I got there they told me that her doctor is in Spanish Fork today. HUH? Why didn't they tell me that when they called to remind me. Anyway I drove to spanish fork and was obviously late for her appointment. Had to wait a little while, no big deal. Once I got in they weighed her and she is now 13 pounds 10 ounces. Big girl:) her head size is in the 90th percentile and her height is in the 65 percentile. After he made sure she was doing well it was time for her shots. Ugh! I hate shots! I got myself ready to hold my baby for the shots, only for them to come in and say they ran out of all the immunizations that she needed. What the heck!?! How does that happen? Anyway now I have to go back in sometime this week to have her get her shots. Im super annoyed but I am glad that she is doing great!!

I just have a feeling that I need to say how blessed I am! I have such an amazing husband who works so hard for our family! I am so blessed to be able to stay home with our girl, because my husband works so hard! He is such a wonderful daddy to our girls!
I am so lucky to have amazing In-laws!! They have always been supportive of me and Kevin! They have always been there for us! They have helped me so much through the years. Our girls love them and love spending time with them! Alex always loves Sundays because we always go over to Grandma's and Grandpa's house! She just loves them all! I am so greatful for the special love I have with my mother in law! Back when Kevin and I were getting married she is the one who took me through the temple, I am so greatful she was willing and was there for me!
I need to work on being a better person! I need to stay positive and stop looking at the bad things in life because I am surrounded by wonderful things everyday!!
I am so blessed to have a testimony! I am so blessed to know that I will see my dad again one day:) Kevin's grandpa just passed away this last week and it was so hard for the family! He was a wonderful man and I am so happy to know that there is life after this and that this is not goodbye. Just a see you later! I am so greatful for eternal families! Without this knowledge I don't know what I would do!

We had April's Blessing last sunday on the 4th of December. It was a wonderful day! Both of our families were able to make it and the circle of elders was wonderful!!
Kevin is such a wonderful daddy:)
After the blessing we had a get together back at our Condo clubhouse. It turned out awesome I made some pork for sandwiches and so did My father in law. I was quite pleased with how things turned out. I think everyone had a great time!
I am so greatful and blessed! I am so lucky to have such amazing in-laws! I love my girls and my husband with all my heart!!

Alex loves going swimming! I am so glad that we chose the Condo to buy! Having the pool right there next to us is awesome!! Daddy and Alex have gone swimming a few times and once I am all healed from having the baby I plan on going swimming as well! Its so much fun!!

This past October has been super busy!! We bought a house and had a baby!! Its been super crazy and I have to say sometimes my hormones are going a little wacko and I get a little over whelmed with everything but I am so happy with our lives!!
Our new house is in Payson Ut. It is a Condo in a great location and a growing community:)
I love it! At first I was a little iffy with the whole condo thing but now that we live here I defiantly think its the best place for us while Kevin is in school and we don't want to take care of a big yard and stuff. I love being a home owner and whats even better is that we pay only about as much as rent. its crazy how great of a deal we got!!
We now have 3 bedrooms, 2 full baths, a walk in closet in the master bedroom, and a laundry room. Its a great place I love it!!
Now on to the best part of our new lives, April Lynn is doing awesome! She now weighs 9 pounds 10 ounces. Alex is loving being a big sister and loves to help out, sometimes a little too much but its sweet. We are still learning the difference between being soft and too rough, but she is doing great! The first week home was a little hard and I am so grateful we had Kevin's family so close. They helped us out so much!! I am in such a great place right now and I absolutely love my family!!

We welcomed April Lynn to our little family on October 24th 2011 at 5:07 pm. She was 9 pounds 5 ounces and she was a week early. All I have to say it thank goodness the induced me early instead of a week late cause holy cow she would have been big:) She is the most beautiful baby! Has a ton of hair also. I think she looks more like Kevin and Alex looks more like me.
Well the day started out with us going in and getting all the IVS hooked up so I could be induced. Everyone there was like "oh yeah you will probably have her around 12 to 2. Yeah right! We only cut off like 7 mins of Alex's delivery time lol. Oh well she was worth the wait! She is one big happy healthy baby. We absolutely love her!!!

Potty Training.

So yesterday I decided that because Alex gets these horrible bum rashes all the time because of her incredibly sensitive skin, that maybe its time to get her to use the potty. She has had a bum rash on and off for like 2 weeks and its so sad when she cries cause it hurts to go potty:( We talked about it over the weekend and got her ready to know that we are going to get rid of the yucky diapers and wear big girl panty's.
We started using the potty yesterday. It sure if fun! The thing is, is that I know she is definitely smart enough, she knows when she needs to go and she doesn't like being wet. The problem is, is that she is smart enough and stubborn enough to just pee on the floor cause she can. Ugh! Yesterday was super hard on her and me. Me because I need to learn patience and not get angry when we sit on the potty forever waiting for her to go. I need to practice my patience and let her tell me when she needs to go. The girl has a big bladder and much control to hold it if she doesn't want to go right then. We only had 3 accidents. Which isn't that bad! Today has gone a lot better! No accidents as of right now. She has used the potty every time she has needed to. Sometimes it takes a little encouragement to get her to go but she does eventually. Im a little worried about taking her out of the house in panty's because I don't want accidents out in public but today we went out to lunch and then the park. No problems:) So we will see. Hopefully I can be a better mom to her today because she deserves me at my best! She is doing very well for just turning 2. We will have potty training down in no time:)

Super Busy October!

We got the Condo!!! YAY! We are so excited to finally be buying a house, its such a big step and now that our family is growing we are done with renting! Plus it helps that Kevin's job is going so well and he is now in his 2nd year of school:)
So in about 3 weeks we will be closing on our house, hopefully everything goes well and there are no problems cause heaven knows I can't handle any more set backs:) Anyway in about 3 weeks we will be leaving our little apartment. I can't wait!! This is not a bad place but I am excited for us being able to control the air conditioner, and a dishwasher, and 2 bathrooms(that's the best!) Oh and higher ceilings! Not to mention we will own the place and can do whatever we want to it to make it super cute!!
Once we move in the fun really starts! We will have about a week until little April Lynn enters the world and joins our family! So excited but its going to be tough moving while 9 months preg and then having a baby the next week. Then Halloween is a week later. Fun stuff! I told Kevin that I am just going to take Alex to the pool on the day we move and then come back at the end lol. Thats about it for now. I will keep anyone who reads my blog posted on all our excitement.

Decisions, decisions!!

My goodness, buying and looking at houses is crazy!! I mean I know we have only been looking for a couple weeks but still:) We really need to get out of our Rental it is not working for us at all! I can't wait till we can own a place.
We have put in an offer for a Condo. I know it seems weird but it just feels right. It is a 3 bedroom 2 full bathroom Condo. It is really big for a Condo. If we happen to get it we will have a Balcony which is really cute! There is a Shared Community house with a heated indoor pool, a game room, a gym (Kevin is pretty excited about that) Also a room with a huge tv and stuff for game nights. Its awesome! There is also a park right outside our door with a playground for Alex and they are even building another playground soon with a volleyball court. Im pretty excited! Its super nice! I like the no maintenance park of owning a Condo. With Kevin is school and us having another baby like next month I dont want to have to worry about mowing and watering a lawn and stuff. Eventually Im sure we will buy a home but for now I think this is the best thing for us:)

Buying a House:)

So my hubby and I have decided that it is a good time to buy a house! If you know us then im pretty sure you have heard me complain all the time about the place we live in. There have been so many problems! With flooding and leaking ceilings and our landlord not wanting to fix the ceiling after water had been leaking in it for months. Talk about gross! My husband and my father in law are so handy and are fixing it for them and us(I guess). Anyway they go to pull out the ceiling and found mold! YUCK!! We have been living in this place with Mold for a few months that is disgusting! Im not very happy with it. Really annoyed that she didnt even want to fix it when this is her house! Anyway, we decided that since we have a child and will have another in less than 2 months that maybe its time to move on and grow up a little. So we came to the conclusion of buying a house!
Last Friday we went in to see where we were on getting a home loan, whether we could or what we needed to do to get to that point. Much to my surprise we qualified with no problems talk about a miracle lol. Anyway so after that we called up our Real Estate Lady and she got some houses for us to look at on friday and starting tomorrow we are going looking. I am so happy! We have already found one that would be awesome for us. Of course we have not seen it so anything can go wrong. but if everything goes smoothly and well we could be in a house by October. I am so happy!
Of course I am nervous about moving and me being 8 almost 9 months preggo. I told Kevin that on the day of the move Alex and I are going to hang out at the park for a few hours while he gets the move on:) Well Ill keep ya'll posted! We will see how everything goes and all that. But I am pretty happy!!

2 Year Molars:(

We took Alex to the dentist last week. Her very first appointment and much to my amazement it went pretty well! They were actually able to get X-Rays of her teeth. Everything looks well with her teeth no problems. I guess she does have a slight over bight but he said its not going to cause any problems at all. SCORE!! I don't have very good teeth so I wanted to make sure we get Alex on the right track and keep all her appointments so that when she is my age she will still have her teeth lol. One thing he did say was that her 2 year molars were coming in. I thought to myself well she hasn't had any problems maybe this will be an easy teething time for her. WRONG!!!! The day after her dentist appointment was when everything started. She started not feeling well and I thought maybe she was just getting a cold. Well now I have learned that in fact her teeth are coming in and holy smokes is it causing problems. The poor girl has been hurting a lot. This morning she woke up an 4am and would not go back to sleep. It was so hard on her and me. Finally about 6 30 she went back to bed after daddy got up for work and talked to her. Then she was up again about an hour later. Sad day! Hopefully things will get better! I just gave her some meds and got her down for a nap and hopefully since she is so stinking tired she will sleep. Fingers crossed:)
On a happy note I am getting closer to having our baby YAY!! I am scheduled to be induced on the 24th of October:) I am so excited! It seems like these last few months are taking forever, but I know before I know it our little missy will be here! I have pretty much got everything set up for our little girl and I'm making Alex's room super cute for the both of them:)

Moab:)

This last weekend we had the opportunity to go to Moab with Kevin's family. It was so much fun!! Alex had the time of her life! We were able to do a few hikes and I have to say Im pretty proud of myself being about 7 months preg and still going on a few hikes without dying:)
We also took Alex swimming in the pool and she had so much fun! I'm so sad I didn't have the camera with me to capture some of the adorable doggy paddling she was doing.
We also got our Moab shirts which is a tradition in our little family and we got the baby a cute little splat man onesie and I can't wait to see her wearing it. I will have to take pics of our shirts:)
It was a very nice vacation! Even though Alex didn't sleep as well as I would have liked so I didn't get much sleep it was still way nice to get away for the weekend!

Alex had a blast hiking! She loved playing in the sand along the pathways. She did get tired being that she is only 2 and she didn't sleep all that well. She is a really good little hiker! I love her so much!! She got upset that we wouldn't let her hike up really high. She sat by daddy crying a little bit. I felt bad but I didnt want her to get hurt at all.
Alex and daddy! Kevin was so sweet to me all weekend with making sure I was ok and taking care of Alex:)

Our Wedding Day
So I was just looking through our wedding photo's and then pics of Alex when she was a tiny baby and it just makes me think how far we have come!
Kevin and I have been married for over 4 years now! Thats crazy! Sometimes it feels like it was just yesterday.
Now we have a 2 year old and are having another baby!! I can't believe how happy I am!! I am so lucky to have such a wonderful husband who stays with me through all my drama lol. I am so lucky to have little Alex who is full of drama herself just like her mama:) She is such a smart girl and makes me laugh everyday!! I love her!! I am so lucky to have our little girl baking in my belly! Only a few more months and then we will get to meet her and even though she is attacking my insides as I type I love her so much and its so great to feel her move!
I love my little family of 4!!!

Birthday Balloons
For those who didnt know Alex and I have a very special day that we share and that is our birthday on June 29th. Now it may not have been a great day when she was born with all the pain and screaming:) But it truly is great that we have that special day! This year was not all that exciting sadly, of course Alex is still little young to care.
The day started off with me being sick yippee but what can you expect I am preggers:) Then I had to take alex to the doctor for her check up and she is doing great! All on track, everyone is always amazed with how much she talks and how much is actually understandable:) She is in the 70% for weight, 80% for height she is getting tall, and a whopping 97% for head size:) That makes me laugh she sure does have a big noggin:) Thank goodness she is all caught up on her shots and only had to get 1 so I was able to handle it. Well once the appointment was over we were leaving and saw that I had a lovely flat tire oh joy:) Since I am fat and preg its a little hard to bend over and change it with Alex right there so I had to once again call Kevin's family to the rescue! I have to say how lucky we are to have them living so close!! Well Kevin's sister came and drove us home:)
Then we have the fun bathroom situation that is pretty gross with the upstairs toilet leaking it has caused the sealing to crumble if you touch it. I dont know if there is mold or if it is just rotting but its pretty disgusting and cant be good for me or the family! They fixed the leak which is nice but informed us that they are not fixing the ceiling for quite some time:( Now I am already over emotional but that upset me a great deal!!!!! Thank goodness for a handy hubby and father in law who might fix it this weekend depending on the cost and if she agrees.
As you can see it was a fun morning:)
It all got better around 5:30 when my wonderful husband got home bringing me and Alex balloons:) And lets not forget the fake money!! I am so lucky to have such a wonderful family!! Even through all the bad things I do have it pretty well:)

Well if you haven't heard we are having another little girl!!! YAY!! We are both very excited and Kevin is already preparing to fight away all the boys:) He is one proud daddy!
We went in for our ultrasound yesterday and made sure everything looked ok and she does! I am actually measuring 3 days farther ahead yippee! They still say im due Oct 30 but we will see. She looks healthy and everything is looking great! She is very stubborn though!! It took a while to get her legs to find out if she was a girl. They tried 3 different times and I'm so glad they did, I would have been so upset if they weren't able to tell us.

My goodness, I just love my little girl!! She is so stinkin cute!! I cant believe how fast time goes and she will be turning 2 next month. ITS CRAZY!!!
Alex Rose is such a big girl now and she loves to talk! Her favorite show is still Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and she loves to sing along and play the little games.
Alex now knows most of her colors. it may take her a minute to get them, we have to tell her to think about it cause she says almost every color is blue the first time:)
Alex loves to help in the kitchen! Today we made cookies and she had so much fun helping me scoop up the dough. She loves to help with the microwave too!
Alex loves nursery at church! Im so happy I dont have to leave her and run. Happily she walks right it and starts playing. One day at church I was in primary and all the sudden I turn around and there is my little missy walking in to me by herself. I took her back to class and they said "im so sorry the door got left open and she escaped" Im so happy she came straight to me and didnt get lost! She is so stinkin smart!!!
Alex is very excited to be a big sister, even though Im not sure she will fully understand till the baby is actually here but she keeps saying she wants a baby brother. I guess we will find out if she is right in a little less than a month:)
Alex still loves to read! Always bringing me books. Alex also loves to sing and dance and knows quite a bit of songs and is always willing to help mom sing them:)

As for the rest of us, Kevin is still working hard! He just finished his first year of his school and got another raise at work. He has the summer off and then its back to school:( not too excited for that but its better in the long run! He play's on and indoor soccer team with a bunch of his family and friends. He enjoys that. He also loves spending time with me and Alex of course:) He is also very excited for baby number 2!

Me I dont do much. I keep the house clean and laundry done for the most part he he. I think I am finally getting over the morning sickness stage which seemed to last forever. Its nice to finally be feeling better. I like to spend time with our little missy and help her learn! I craft when I can. Im excited to find out if this baby is a boy or a girl and then my crafting with defiantly set in to get the kids room looking super cute!! Of course I still have till October till we get to meet this little baby.

My Pregnancy

This pregnancy has so far been a lot harder than when I was preggo with Alex. I feel ten times sicker and its everyday! I feel bad for Kevin who has to put up with my complaining always:(. I dont know what it is. I am on meds for morning sickness and I have to take them or else the day is bad. I get headaches often! It sucks! Thank goodness for the beautiful baby I get in the end cause that makes it all worth while:)
Well I am now 12 weeks along almost 13. We got to hear the baby's heartbeat on Monday and it is strong! Im so happy for a healthy baby. Hopefully I will start feeling better soon!

Happy Anniversary:) Kevin and I have been married for 4 years today! I am so happy! I love my husband with all my heart! We have been through a lot together! I am so happy with all the choices I made and made Kevin mine! I can't wait to spend eternity with the man I love!!! I am so happy our little family is still growing and we will welcome a new little baby to our family in October! I love my life!!!!

This in my newest little craft. I think its pretty cute and fun! I dont know if I will be able to keep up with it but I will try.
On another note, I have my first official doctors appointment today. Nothing special I am only 8 weeks along. They did my physical and everything looks good! They also drew blood and I have to say they got my vein in 1 try! I was quite impressed. The last time someone tried to get my blood it took 2 people both my arms and finally they had to get it from my hand. OUCH! So they did way better this time! They also tried to hear the heart beat for me but its still kinda early. I think I heard a few fludders but who knows for sure. Well I am on track with everything and I can't wait till April 18th for my next appointment!!

This is Alex's plant. This plant was started in nursery at church and Alex brought it home to grow and I have to say she is so proud! I can't believe it is actually growing in our basement apartment but it is!! Alex loves looking and it and when it gets warmer I am going to plant more flowers outside in our little planter and she can help me water them:)

Quick Update

So I need to update everyone on our lives.

Life is actually really good for us right now which is always helpful!

Kevin is working hard with his Electrical Company! They are building a school still out in Saratoga Springs which is pretty cool! He is also almost done with his first year of school which is exciting since he makes more money after every semester. I can not wait for summer though! Sometimes its hard not having him around but I manage:)

Alex is getting bigger! She is now 20 almost 21 months old. I can't believe how fast time goes! She is such a sweet heart! She is always there to hug mommy when I am not feeling well! I love her so much!! She is also loving nursery at church and has no problem going at all. Its nice for her to get out and play with other children since she is an only child right now:) That is going to change soon! Alex always loves singing songs with me! I love it! I can sing a bit and then she will sing a long with me! Its adorable!!

I am loving staying home with my baby! Sometimes its hard to stay home all the time but I wouldnt change it for the world! I am also growing a baby in my belly:) The morning sickness is never fun but hopefully I get over it soon! I go in for my first official appointment next monday and I cant wait to hear our little creatures heart beat!!

I also still enjoy crafts! I am always looking for more projects so if you have any Idea's throw them this way!

Anyway that is us! For now, im sure things will change soon I will continue to be a better blogger hopefully!

Good News

Well its time to share the good news. Kevin and I are going to have another baby!! I am so excited!! I am due October 30, so Im not very far along. I am about 6 almost 7 weeks. We have known for a few weeks but wanted to wait until I was a little farther along till we told everyone. I have just started the morning sickness which is not too fun but its gotta happen sometime.
Kevin and I are so happy and can't wait to add another bundle of joy to our family:)

So it has been a while sorry, Well lately I have been trying to make my little apartment cute since we will be here for a while. The pic above is of some cute basic pillows I made for our couches. They are nothing special but I made them and thats pretty cool:)
Anyway lets get to the good stuff, The pic below is a pic of my favorite latest craft! I got this Idea from my best friend, who had made her own blocks of her last name. She help me a lot and Im so greatful she did! They are not finished all the way cause I still want to add and few gadgets here and there. But still I am very happy with how they turned out!

The Holidays

So this Christmas was very busy for our little family! We had so many places to go and family to spend time with, but it was all worth it!! I have to say that my little girl got spoiled from all her grandparents, and santa! She is quite happy!

Well Alex also got hurt the worst she ever has which was abosolutely horrible! It all started on thursday at about 4 oclock. We were at the Payson WIC office when Alex was running around and tripped and fell on one of those huge wooden toys that you push the beads around on. She hit it just perfectly on the corner and she missed her eye thank goodness but her forhead started swelling up in seconds. It was huge. The WIC ladys were so nice and immediately rushed us across the hall to the doctors office and got her in so fast to be seen. Alex was screaming and crying I was crying and praying many many many times that everything would be ok!!! Well when we got in to the doctor, she was like holy cow!!! It was bad! Luckily she missed her eye so her eye is not damaged! We had to keep an eye on her to make sure there was no head trama and make sure she did not need a CT Scan. They gave her some Tylenol and gave us some ice packs for her head and we left. This all happened right before the holidays:( We had so many people asking " holy cow what happened".

Alex of course is doing just fine and is the happiest little girl with a big black eye:)

The Gospel!!

I am so greatful and blessed to have the Gospel in my life!! I am so thankful for all of the many blessings I have recieved and my family has recieved! I know that if it werent for the gospel in my life I would be lost. I am so greatful for Alex and Kevin they are my world and I love them so much.
Even though its scary to teach 9 year olds sometimes but I really do love my calling as a Primary Teacher!
I know that the Gospel is the reason for many good things happening in my life and I could not be happier to be a member of this wonderful gospel! I love my heavenly father, and brother Jesus Christ!

Things Im Thankful For:)

Since it was just Thanksgiving I guess I should write a list of everything I am thankful for, right now in my life I am just so happy. I mean yes I do have my moments where I think everything is so hard, and I cry but who doesnt!?!
Anyway first I have to say how happy and thankful I am to have my little family! Kevin and Alex are my world and I would do anything for them!
I am so greatful for my wonderful hubby who works so hard for me and Alex and works so hard so that I can stay home with my baby, he really is an amazing man and I love him so much:)
I am so greatful for my beautiful baby girl who is always so happy and whenever I am crying or having a hard day she knows and holds out her arms for me to cuddle with her. She is my perfect child!!
I am so greatful for Kevin's job well his Career! He is moving forward in his work and school and doing so well! I am so proud of him for working so hard with his Career as an Electrician. His work is going really well and he is going to get a dollar raise at the end of the semester and after each semester! Im excited for that!!
I am greatful for Kevin being able to get insurance here pretty soon for himself and its free!!
I am so greatful for our 2 working cars! They are still going which is always helpful!
I am so greatful for our apartment!!! I love, love, love this place! I mean sure I wish is was a house instead of an apartment but what can you do. At least it is ours, and we dont have to live with family anymore!!
I am so greatful that we are moving forward with our bills and within 2 years and 7 months we will have absolutely NO DEPT!!!! Im so proud! It should even be sooner depending on everything.
I am so proud of Alex and how smart she is! I mean holy smokes she is way smarter than me lol. I keep joking with Kevin by saying are you ready to fork out and arm and a leg to put her in all the best Private Schools since she is so smart! Our child is a Genius:)
I am so greatful Kevin is able to play indoor soccer! He is really good! Im always so proud to watch him!
I am so greatful for our sleep number bed that helps me get a good night sleep most nights!
I am so greatful Alex goes to bed so easy and stays alseep most nights!
I am so greatful for my excersize bike so I can at least get off my butt and workout a little everyday!
I am so greatful for my crafts and skills so that I can feel like I did something other than dishes, and cleaning and changing diapers!
I am greatful for my friends that are there for me when I need them. Well Kevin is my best friend of course and he is always there for me no matter what! But I do have some friends who help me also.
Well there you go, I know the list should go on and on but its late and Im tired so I can't think of anything else, but you get the picture:)
The point is, is that I am so greatful for my life! I love my family, I am so greatful for them!! I am just so happy!!

I just want to say how greatful I am to be where I am! Life has not always been easy for us since we have been married with Kevin getting laid off when I was preggo and all that but I have to say we have come a long way!
Life is fantastic!! I am so happy Kevin is working on his Career as an Electrician and doing wonderful! He is working hard for us and going to school and doing excellent! With the company he is working for he will get a dollar raise after each semester of school and Im so excited! He is much happier doing this than any of his other jobs perhaps its because this is his career now. It is a great career for him! He loves staying active!! He has also just started playing indoor soccer and did amazing at his first game! It was so fun to watch him.
Alex is doing fantastic! She is growing and developing the way she needs too! She loves to talk! Words she can say now are Bye, and she waves also, dadda, grandpa, popcorn, mamma, paula, uh uh, uh oh, thank you, those are some of the ones we can understand anyway:) She is a talker though! She is well on a schedule going to bed at about 830 or 9 and waking up at 8 or 830. She still sometimes takes 2 naps a day 1 at 1130 to about 1 or 2 and depending on how well she sleeps she may take another at about 5. She has hit the terrible 2s of course and we are working on teaching her is not ok to hit and throw tantrums. She is doing very well!
I am just so happy! I love my life and I love my family!! I am working on crafts and I am hoping to start a tradition of making pajama pants for my fam every christmas:) I hope they turn out well! I am loving being a stay at home mom!!
I love my hubby and I love my daughter!!! I cant wait to spend the rest of my life with my family.

So as of lately I am trying to be all excited for the holidays I know halloween is not really a big one but its still fun! I am so happy we are in our own place and I can decorate it however I feel:) So I am trying to make my house all cute for the trick or treaters. One thing that sucks though is that we are in a basement apartment and I dont know how many trick or treaters we will get:( Im sure friends of ours in the ward will bring there kids to our house since they know we live here lol but we will see.

So these last couple of weeks since I had no car for a little bit I was trying to come up with idea's to make my house well apartment cuter. I decieded to start with Alex's room. As you can see I did the alphabet around the top of the walls which I think turned out way cute. I also found adorable stickers that come off the wall easy without causing damage and got the butterfly ones. I think it is super cute and it was definatly fun playing with her room!

It is time for family updates! Everything has been going pretty well for us lately which I am greatful for!!! Last week we had to get Kevin's car registered but with the crack in his windshield we were pretty sure we would have to buy a new one but lucky us when he went in to see what would pass and what wouldnt, everything PASSED! We are so greatful!! I couldnt believe it! I guess they said that if the crack is less than 6 inches to the side of it then its ok and his was 5 1/2. Thank our lucky stars!! Also my car pooped out. Again, and we thought for sure it was gone this time but NO, instead of it being the altenator we thought was gone and power steering all it needed were 2 new belts! Man are we super lucky or what!?! I know that I am very greatful for all of our wonderful many blessings!
Anyway back to the updates:) Alex is now almost 15 months old and holy cow has she grown up so much! She is definatly no longer a baby. She still says thank you, your welcome, good girl, go, ball, daddy, dadda, dad, momma, mommy, mom, paula plenty more words I dont quite understand yet:) She can go on and on and have a conversation with you, she is definatly a talker just like her mom. We are working on saying please now and sometimes she gets it.
She loves to go for walks, go up and down stars, she doesnt really like holding our hands for help she is very independant! She loves the show Price is Right she claps and cheers with the people on the show. She also likes phineas and ferb. She loves to dance everytime the friends show begins she will look and me and start dancing. She loves music! She loves taking baths:) She still takes usually 2 naps. She knows when it is bed time and will follow me to her room to get ready. She knows how to give hugs and smooches! Its so adorable she gives very wet smooches:) She knows how to fake cry now and throw fits. She still has a hard time listening to mom but whenever daddy is around she knows he means business. She loves her daddy and every morning she goes around the house looking for him and calling out dadda. I know there are plenty more things Im forgetting but she is definatly our perfect little girl! We love her so much and could not ask for a better girl!
Well Kevin is in school for his journey mans license at MATC, he is doing pretty well! He is also working full time at an Electric Company here in Spanish Fork and is doing really well! He is such a hard worker and I am so greatful to him. I love him so much!! He will also be starting an indoor soccer team with some of the guys he works with, here in the next month. It will be fun for him!
My life is not as exciting. I am still a stay at home mom which I love and could not ask for a better job! I like to decorate my house up. I just got Alex's room all cute! I like to go walking and I work out everyday! I am also taking a Money Mastery class through my ward which is fun! Alex gets to go to nursery while im in class and she has fun, most the time anyway:)

This last weekend we decided to go camping with all of Kevin's family up Diamond Fork Canyon. I have to say it was a success!!! Alex did so great! I was so proud, she loved getting dirty (mom didnt like it to much but what can you do). But yes I was so happy everything went so well. Of course since we have a child we pretty much have to pack everything for an over night stay so Alex was quite comfy. For bedtime we had her playpen and an extra mattress and 3 blankets and her little jammies. She only woke up once that night it was great!! I didnt sleep like at all but Im glad she got some so she wasnt grumpy:)

So I have been working out every day except sunday for the last couple of weeks. Im so proud of myself! I have been riding our stationary bike for about 25 min, 400 calories. Then I also did arm workouts with 10 pound weights and then crunches. I think Im doing pretty good but I get so discouraged because it doesnt seem like I am loosing weight:(. I still feel fat. Kevin keeps saying that I am gaining a lot of muscle which is true I can tell but still. I dont know I know I have a bigger body type than most which is sad at times but what can you do. I just have to come to terms that I will never been a tiny little skinny butt! I can be healthy though and that is what im going for!

Look at my little girl! She is so beautiful!!! I love her hair it is perfect! I wish it would stay like it is in the pic instead of going all crazy but oh well.
Alex Rose is now almost 14 months old and holy cow has she grown up!
She can now walk and does a lot, sometimes she still crawls cause she is faster that way.
She goes up and down stairs like it is nothing.
She talks up a storm! She can say thank you, dadda, mamma, ball, please and lots of other things I just dont understand. Every morning as I get her out of bed she just sits there talking to me as I get her ready for the day.
She folds her arms for the prayer, I always clap for her when she does that so now she always claps after she folds her arms but we are working on it.
She of course sleeps all through the night. We put her to bed at Around 8:15 and she sleeps almost always to 7:30 or 8.
She loves to play in her room with all her toys.
She loves her ball pit and sticking the balls through all the holes its fun for mom to clean up.
She is almost off the bottle, eats way more food now!
She is fearless! At church and everywhere we go she loves talking to other people or going up to them!
She loves her daddy!! Every morning she will go through the house calling for daddy and once he gets home she wants nothing to do with me. ( its kinda nice lol)
She wears a lot of 2T clothes. She is a growing little girl!
She loves going for walks and or playing outside!
She loves her grandma and grandpa Palmer! Everytime we go over to visit she always wants to go to grandpa, I think it helped that we lived with him for the first year of her life almost.
She doesnt like getting her hair down, she will always pull out the bows, and ponytails.
She loves taking a bath!! She loves the water just not on her face!
She now has 12 teeth!!! Four molars and then the four on the top and bottom, its crazy! More are on there way too!
She loves to read! Last sunday in church we would just sit there in sacrament meeting and read books.
I know there are many more things I just can't think of them all right now.
But I do have to say my baby is no longer a baby:( She is all grown up and is becoming a toddler, I miss my baby but I am so glad she is growing up and becoming a little girl! I love my daughter!!

So now that Alex is older she likes to go off and play by herself and right now she loves playing in the bathroom:). She loves to go in and flush the toilet or push all the shampoo's and stuff that were on the side of the tub into the tub.
Well the other day she was really quiet so I figured I better go check on her and this is what I found. She has figured out how to pull down all the TP. It was so funny!! Once I saw this she took off crawling and laughing. I love my little girl!!

Well Kevin went to an interview the other day and he got the job on the spot! It is with an Electric Company in Springville I am so proud of him!!
He is starting in 2 weeks and will be making more than he does now. Until he gets his first paycheck it will be kinda tight with money but it will all workout in the end.
I am so Proud of my hubby! He is starting his Apprenticship next month and he already has a company to help him with school! YAY!! Oh and they might even help him pay for school.
I am so happy things are going great! Hopefully they continue to go that way!
I love my husband Kevin and our little girl Alex! I have the perfect happy little family!!! I am so happy!!

Man I am having a major break down! My car just died at the store, so I had to get all my crap and get alex and walk home. Its not that far but that car is the one my dad gave me and he is not here anymore. It is almost his birthday and he is not here. Its not fair!!!
We dont have money to fix it:(. We have to get kevins car fixed and registered next month and barely have the money to do that.
I put sunscreen on alex but I still think she got burned because she was cursed with my butt white skin. I got sunburned and dehydrated and all that crap.
I dont even know what to do right now! Im so upset and have been crying so much that I know have a headache.

Alex got some pretty good stuff for her birthday like clothes, toys, a portable high chair which I think is more for me which is ok since it was my bday too. But anyway one of my favorite things she got was this amazing ball pit! She LOVES it! It is so great she can just go climb in and play. I dont have to worry about her hurting herself although I still watch her of course but she has so much fun! She loves it when daddy and mommy get in it with her too! She loves throwing the balls around and bouncing up and down and I know once she is more stable on her feet she will love jumping up and down too. Thank you Brenda and Dave for this wonderful gift!! We all love it! Thank you everyone who helped make Alex's first birthday a wonderful one!!

So yesturday we had a birthday party for my little girl who is turning 1 next tuesday. We had so much fun! I made her cake and it turned out really cute and very yummy!

Well we all got together here at our house and then we went outside to play in the pool:) It was so much fun! The little kids played in the pool and Kevin made the food on the BBQ. It was delish!!

After that we went inside to eat the cake. Alex really didnt like everyone singing to her and staring at her but we enjoyed it. We gave her a little cupcake to eat.

Then we all ate cake and let Alex open her fun presants.

She got some pretty cool stuff like a Ball Pit! Im so excited for that! That is going to be so much fun! She also got some wood puzzles which she loves to play with. She also got some adorable clothes. Oh and we got a portable high chair which is really going to help us out!

We had a very good time! I am so glad everyone came!

Oh and since its my birthday on tuesday as well everyone sang to me against my wishes but what can you do. I got a nice robe that I wanted! I always use kevins and not to be mean but his is ugly so now I have my own:) I also got some peanut M&Ms and a candy machine for them its really fun I love it!

The other day I was washing dishes and Alex was up and around exploring our house some more.

All the sudden I hear her start whinning, so I was calling to her and telling her to come here so I can see whats up. Usually its nothing!

Well I decided to go find her and here she was:) She likes to explore everything! She is a very active girl I love her!

She is such a smart girl.

I still cant believe she is going to be 1 in a couple weeks.

I am really starting to plan her party. Its fun! Im going to be making her cake and since I have only made 1 cake in my life its going to be exciting but the first one I made was very yummy im sure alex will still eat the cake even if it turns out ugly. Hopefully it will be cute.

Oh my Heck Alex turns 1 this month:) I cant believe how fast time has gone, its amazing how smart she is and all she has learned.
-she now can walk along everything, walls, couches, chairs, her walker, she is so close to taking her first steps!
-she can now stand by herself for about 10 second
-she feeds herself snacks
-she drinks from a sippy cup! That was a big one she has finally got the head tipped back thing to drink from the sippy cup.
-she still sleeps through the night(thank heavens) About 8pm to 7 or 8am
-she talks up a storm! We are trying to teach her the basics like please and thank you, up, bye, hi, she does try to say them in her own way. she has started this new thing of squealing when she wants something so we are really working on the please and thank you!
-she knows how to go up stairs, and tries to come down lol.
-she reaches up when she wants to be picked up
-she waves goodbye and hello
-she loves opening and shutting doors
-she loves to go explore the house by herself. Its fun!
-she loves getting into the kitchen cabinets, like the pots and pans:)
-she loves going on walks with mom!
-she walks when I hold her hands its sometimes hard to keep up.
-she knows how to pull herself onto everything!
-she loves bouncing in her crib, im sure we are going to have fun with the jumping on the bed.
-she tries to drink from a real cup everytime mommy and daddy do!
-she likes to get into the garbage but its really gross
-she listens very well! She knows the work NO and actually stops when we tell her no
-she loves goldfish and yogurt bites.
-she loves standing up
-she crawls everywhere
-she loves to smile
-she loves looking at books and opens them and goes through the pages
-she loves meeting new people! On sunday she kept walking off to the people sitting behind us and sure did make them laugh!
-she loves her jumper!
-she doesnt really like to watch tv. she is way to interested in the world to just sit in one place.
-she is a very big baby lol. She no longer looks like a baby though she is a little lady, a little girl and she is going to be 1!!!
I know there is much more I just cant think of anymore right now but she really is a very smart girl who loves to work out problems. if we put a gate up to keep her away from things she works very hard to try and figure out how to get around it.
I love my baby so very much! I couldnt have asked for a better baby! She is perfect!

Well on April 29th Kevin turned 24!! He an old folk, of course Im kidding since in like a month I will be 24 also:)

For Kevins b-day we went to Nickel City in Orem, it was so much fun! We played laser tag and games and had his favorite food Pizza. It was a blast!!

For his birthday I made my very first cake I was so excited and everyone loved it! That made me happy.

Also that day as we were waiting for friends and family to get there Kevin and I were sitting in the car and we witnessed a man rob a car in the parking lot next to us. It was crazy!! I called the police and they came and asked me which way he went and we told them he was on a bike and they found him! Well I guess he denied ever getting in the car which is a lie obviously but whatever so we might be called as whitnesses in court. Its crazy!!

My baby girl is now over 10 months. Its crazy how fast time goes! I love my baby girl! She now has 5 teeth and more are still coming in!
Alex now sleeps through the night! Well she has for a while but now for sure!
She pulls herself up and walks along the edges of everything. She is a pro at it. Now she even is trying to balance without holding onto anything. She is a little daredevil. I know she will be walking in no time.
Alex also knows how to clap when I say clap she gets so cute and giggles.
She likes waving hello to people!
Alex knows how to say dadda and mamma. Whenever I call kevin while he is at work she yells dadda and smiles when she hears him!
She loves to growl at people lol.
She loves jumping in her jumper and has very strong legs I might add.
Alex is a very smart girl! There are plenty more things I just have to get to bed now.

The other day we went on a family picnic. It was so much fun! We went to a park in Provo, it was very pretty. There was a cute little duck pond and many children feeding them bread lol. But yeah I made some potato salad and it was yummy. We got some really great pics! I love the one with me and Alex walking on the bridge! It is beautiful!

Well so far I am loving our new home! But boy did it take some work to get it there! I will have to post pictures sometime. Im still trying to get some things in order but for the most part everything is out of boxes. It was so fun going through our stuff that has been packed for about a year and seeing all the cool stuff we have. Like our pretty cool red measuring cups:).
Anyway before we moved in we had to repaint the cabinets in the kitchen because they were white and everything in the kitchen was white so it looked blah. So before we did that we had to get the handles and hinges off and that was hard because there was like 5 layers of paint over them. Not too fun. So once we did that and got them back to there original silver color we got the cubboards painted brown and I have to say a major inprovement!! I love it.
Well we have 2 bedrooms, a den, the living room the kitchen, washer & dryer hookups (we dont have any yet so if anyone wants to give us there we would really appriciate it! lol) and of course the bathroom. Its a pretty big place and I plan to be here a while.

Im so excited! Kevin and I got an apartment! 2 bedroom 1 bath, kitchen, dinning room and living room. Lots of storage. Here in Spanish Fork! Close to where we are now but it is our own place!! We get to paint a little and clean it up fix some stuff but will be moving in a week or 2 I cant wait!!!

Today we bought Alex one of those walker things. I dont know what its called but it was only 3 bucks at DI so we got it. Well she loves it!!! Today when we got her home and after we gave it a good cleaning she finally got to play with it. She loves standing up and being independant. She is so close to walking all by herself. So my wonderful husband bought me Pearls. A couple weeks ago Kevin told me that he had bought me something and he wouldn't tell me what it was. He said he spent about $150.00. But he would not tell me what it was. He tried telling me that he bought me snow shoes lol. He said I couldnt have them till our anniversary. Well when they finally arrived I convinced him to give them to ne and it was pearls.They are so beautiful. I love them and I love my husband!!!

Ok so funny story. My car expired at the end of Feb, so we have been trying to get everything fixed on it so that it will pass safety and emissions. So we decided it needed 2 new tires, because my car had like 3 different types of tires on it 2 being actual Dodge Neon tires. Dont ask me why. Its just a piece. Anyway so while I was on my way to get them Guess what! I got pulled over lol. Yeah it was pretty funny I didnt get a ticket or anything I just think its funny that while im in the process of getting everything fixed I get pulled over.
I think that 1 reason I might be getting pulled over could be because the car is in my dads name so when they look that up they see that his license is expired because he passed away. Today the cop asked me if I was Meredith and if my license was valid. He also told me the next time I see my dad I should tell him to get his license Renewed. That might be kinda hard.

Alex is such a good baby. Everyone always tells us we have such a happy baby and its so true! I love her! She certainly does have my personality and can be a bum at times but the majority of the time she is smiling and happy!
Lately she has been crawling everywhere. Today to stop her from getting into everything I put her in the play pen to play and she loved standing up in it and biting the side. I know that it is only a matter of time before we are chasing her all over the house. Alex is such a smart baby! I love her with all my heart!
I also have to say how much I love my husband Kevin!! He is so good to me! A couple of weeks ago I had to say the closing prayer in sacrament meeting and if you know me you know that I am so scared to get up in front of people, but Kevin kept telling me "your going to do great"! He kept hugging me and telling me it will be great and not to worry. He really does help me with every trial I go through. I can't imagine my life without him. He is such a great dad and husband. The other day I was babysitting my niece and it was so cute to watch Kevin play games with her. It was so cute. I cant wait till we have more children. I love my family!!!

Funny Story

So today Kevin and I were watching my niece and decided to go to Krispy Kreme to get a treak before we took her home. So while Kevin was standing in line I took Alex and my niece Kasey over to watch them make the doughnuts it was pretty fun. Anyway while we were there 2 boys totally got in front of my niece and it kinda made me mad so I said " that was rude" they just looked at me and kept going. So while we are watching another boy gets in front of me and Alex and blocked Alex's view and she totally got mad! She started yelling and even growling at him. It was hilarious!! The boy turned around and moved over a bit so she could see. It was so funny. Alex is definatly my child, has my same attitude. I love it. It might not be such a good thing and Ill probably hate it once she hits those terrible two's but for now it is freakin adorable!!

I cant believe that is has already been over 8 months since I had my beautiful little Alex. Its seams like it was just yesterday. Well maybe not yesterday but it does not seem that lond ago.

My little girl is now pretty much crawling everywhere. She loves to get into everything and really likes going for our laptop cord. I dont see why it is that interesting but she always goes for it if she can see it. She also loves talking!! She is always saying Dadadadadadadad.... And she also says Mamamamamama. Mostly its Dada but she alwasy calls for me when she is sad:)

Alex also loves standing and I swear she is going to be walking in no time. She loves to be on her feet!!

I am getting so excited for her birthday. I know I still have some time to think but I am getting some good Idea's! Its going to be a blast!!

Almost 3 years!!!

on March 24th Kevin and I have been married for 3 years and still going strong! I love that man so much! He is everything to me. I cant believe how fast time has gone. For our anniversary this year we are going to MOAB!! Im so excited. I cant wait!! We are taking little Alex and going to take lots of pictures. I cant wait to get away for a bit. It has been a crazy year and can only get better from here and I cant wait! I cant wait till we dance to our song "your still the one" By Shania Twain. For all of you who thought we wouldnt make it. What now???? I love Kevin so much more now than the day I met him and married him. I dont know what I would do without him. He makes me a better person! I love him with all my heart!!

So today I accidently broke Alex's bouncer. He he. Anyway Kevin let me go out and buy this new on that can hold a toddler up to 40 pounds. Im pretty excited lol. Alex loves it and so do I!!

The new purse that I made! I love the fabric. I think its stinkin cute. I also made a maching wallet but I gave that to my niece today.

So lately I have been sewing a few projects and made this cute little wallet. It was really fun. I dont have a whole lot of patterns so I kinda just do it by eye but hey it worked out and I really enjoyed it!!

She loves balloons! You cant see it but she is going crazy shaking the balloon!

She got a bum rash so we let her be naked for a bit to dry off, it looks like she is ready for the pic.

I cant believe Alex is now almost 8 months old! Its crazy how fast time goes. Well now my little girl is quite the handful, but we love her so much!

She is now able to roll over, front to back and back to front. She rolls around to get everywhere. Its really funny cause I will put her down in one place and then go get something and when I get back she is rolling herself to the other side of the room. She is also starting to drag herself so its just a matter of time before she is crawling all over the place. I keep telling my hubby that once she can crawl we have lost all control.

She can also sit without help. She can get herself from a sitting position to laying down on her belly without hurting herself.

She talks nonstop lol. She is quite the chatter box and I love it!

She loves to dance!

She loves to smile and laugh!

She sleeps through the night for the most part.

She weighs over 20 pounds. She is a chunk!

She is still in the 90th percent for everything, they actually told us her head size what off the charts. She's got some brains.

She has still got her blue eyes. I dont know where she got them cause I have brown and Kevin has green and hazel, so I guess the mix could make blue. They are beautiful though!

Her hair is starting to grow all over her head instead of just the middle line.

She is able to entertain herself for quite some time while playing on the floor.

She can be a pill. She has learned how to sqeal when she doesnt get her own way. Sometimes I feel those terrible 2s have already begun, but I wouldnt change it at all. She certainly has her own personality. She is my little lady!

She loves to walk while holding our fingers. She loves to stand up and is always trying to!

So Alex has been a little sick lately. She has a sore little bum and is not wanting to eat. Well we took her into the doctor and found out why so now we are just waiting for her to feel better! Her bum is so sore so today we gave her a bath and then put some cream on and just let her hand out naked for a while to try and air out. She loved it! It was so funny to watch her. She is such a happy baby! I love my baby. This picture actually looks like she was ready for me to take the pic. She is so adorable.

Oh and she now weighs 20 pounds. My little chunk, she only has to gain 2 more pounds and then she is out of her infant car seat. She is growing so freakin fast! I love her!!!

So this last week it seams like I have lost my Breast Milk. It is so sad. I have started to give Alex formula. I am still trying to Breast Feed but she is not getting enough, so I have to give her formula so that she is not still hungry. I figure its not too bad because she is eating like there was no change. I just feel bad about not being able to. It was not my choice I guess my body just doesnt want to anymore.
Well Alex is healthy and a very big baby so Its not going to hurt her at all, its just hard for me.
But hey there is a good thing about it, she has teeth now so she wont bite me anymore lol. Oh and Kevin can get up with her if she wakes up in the middle of night. There are many good things to this. I just feel bad.

Alex and Daddy. I love my little family so very much. When times are hard I always know that I have them. I know I always have my wonderful husband to talk to. He always know's how to calm me down when I panic about things that I don't need to worry about. He is such a wonderful man I love him so much!

I also have my beautiful little girl, who I have to say is so much like her mommy which is not always a good thing lol. I think I have spoiled her. I still love her though! She is such a mommy's girl which is also and good and bad thing. Its cute to have her stop crying when I am with her but at the same time I would like to leave the room to go to the bathroom without it being the end of the world. LOL.

I do love my family! I would not have them any other way! I love Kevin and my little Alex!

I just have to say how much I love my Husband Kevin and my adorable little missy Alex Rose! I am so lucky and happy I have them in my life. My husband is such a wonderful man, he has had a tough year but he never stops going. He is doing everything he can to support our little family.He is also an AMAZING FATHER to our little princess. He always spending time with her and helping me with her all the time! I am so blessed and greatful to have such a hard working and loving man!

Also this year we were blessed with our little girl Alex Rose, She is such a wonderful addition to our perfect little family. Little Alex is now 6 months old. I can't believe how fast time goes. We went in for her 6th month appointment on Tuesday and she is now 18 pounds and 5 ounces. The 80th percentile and 70 for height. Now prepare yourself her head is in the 97th. Its crazy, she definatly has got some brains. She is such a beautiful little girl! I could not ask for a better daughter.

Since 2009 is out the door and we are welcoming the new year 2010, I thought I would write out some of our Goals for the upcoming year.

Number 1. I want to get into shape and lose some weight. I have already started a couple of weeks ago but I need to stick with it!

Number 2. Kevin is either going to find and get a good job. OR he is going to start school. He is looking into an Electrician Apprenticeship, that will give him the schooling he needs and the money we need. Im pretty excited for that!

Number 3. We are going to be fantastic Primary Teachers. Again lol. We are teaching the 5 year olds in our new ward, which is kinda funny cause in our old ward we were teaching the 5 year olds.

Number 4. We are going to celebrate our little girls 1 year birthday in June.

Number 5. My husband and I are both going to turn 24. We's old folk.

Number 6. We are going to celebrate our 3 year anniversary!! YAY!

I am sure that many more will come along, but that is all I can think of right now. I will update more later.

So today was Alex's first Christmas as you all know, and I have to say it was a wonderful one for her and her daddy and me. It all started yesterday when Alex got a brand new Crib! I was so happy and I have to say thank you to Brenda and Dave for buying it for her. You see we only had a small protable crib for her and she is growing like a weed so the bought her a new one! I am so greatful! Then last night we went over to my mom's house to have Christmas with the fam. It was pretty fun, talking about old times and seeing almost my whole fam:) Alex got a pretty cute Butterfly shaped toy that she loves to play with! I got a Memory board for Alex's pictures and notes. Kevin got a brand new Leather Wallet"pretty cool". I also got a My 1st year book for Alex. Oh and we got 2 ornaments for our tree:). I was great!

This morning for Christmas we got together with Kevin's family over at our house and had breakfast. YUMMY!! Then we opened presents. Alex got a blanket that I made her, a sqishy ball thing that she loves to eat and play with lol, a Thermometer for her ear! Im pretty excited about that! Also her Grandpa got her a savings account to start saving up money for when she is older I am very greatful for that as well!

Kevin got some movie passes, some mula, and Snuggie:) and I gave him a hiker backpack to carry Alex in.

I got a foot spa with I am so excited to use! I also got some peanut butter M&M's YUMMY!! I love them and The movie Proposal "my new fav" Oh and my love bought me some Biggest Loser Workouts and a Sewing kit with thread and needles and all sorts of stuff.

I just have to say that it was a great First Christmas for Alex!

"Santa baby hurry down the chimney tonight". So this is Alex's 1st christmas. I love her so much. Im not a big fan of Christmas because of certain events, but I am so glad I have my little girl to make Christmas special for. We went and got picture's with Santa, I was pretty sure she was going to cry but she did not. Im so proud of my little munchkin!
I am so happy I get to spend Christmas with my little family, and Kevins wonderful family! It should be great!!

So Alex has started teething. YIPPEE! JK She definatly has the little fever to go with it. She is starting to bite me and chew while eating. Its not too fun! She also wakes up a hundred times a night crying. It drives me crazy. Thank you to my wonderful Husband who also wakes up to help me before I go crazy.
I just hope these teeth pop out soon so that she is not in too much pain for too long!!

I tried to take the book away. LOL!

I have recently discovered that our little Alex loves to read and look at books! I keep joking with Kevin saying she is going to be our smart child that becomes a millionare and lets up live with her, he he! But seriously she actually looks like she is reading them and she is just barely 5 months old. Its crazy. I went to DI and bought a whole bunch of hard books that she can play with and chew on and read its tons of fun!

So for Alex's first thanksgiving we has so much fun! On Thanksgiving we went to my mother in law's house for a breakfast. It was yummy! It was also Kevins little bro's birthday so we also had the breakfast for that too. We played Apples to Apples it was really fun! I almost won but came in second lol.

Anyways then later that night we went over to my moms house for a dinner. It was not too special it was nice to have the whole family together, well at least most of them.

Friday actually felt like Thanksgiving to me. We went over to Kevin's Grandma's house for a get together/dinner that was tons of fun1 Everyone got to see Alex and play with our happy smily baby. We also played the Battle of the Sexes. I have to say not my favorite game it was kinda dumb. Anyway all in all we had a pretty good Thanksgiving and then we have 1 more to do on the 5th of Dec. It should be fun!

So this is my new hair cut. I dont know if I like it yet. I think it is very cute but holy cow it is so freakin short. Its like I like it and hate it at the same time!! Well it is a A line cut so it is longer in the front and it gets shorter in the back. I miss my long hair but it was all falling out anyway because of me just having a baby. I think short hair looks better with my face but I loved having the long hair. I miss my hair but I like the new cut.

So since thanksgiving is coming up, I thought I would go ahead and post what I am thankful for. There are a lot of things that I am so greatful for and greatful that I have but the 2 most important things I am blessed to have and greatful for are my Wonderful Baby Girl and my Wonderful Husband Kevin. They are the most important things to me and I am so lucky to have them. This past year has been so hard for me. I have had so many trials and my Husband has been right there to help me with everything and I am so lucky I have him. He is such a wonderful husband and an amazing father to our little girl!! I love him!!

I am also so greatful for my little girl Alex Rose. She is a wonderful little girl! She is such a smart girl and I absolutely love her with all my heart!

Through all my hard times I know that my husband and my little girl will always be there helping me everyday!! I love my family!

Just some more pictures of my Adorable little girl. She is grapping her toes! Not very often but she is starting too its so fun!!

Well Alex is now almost 5 months old and we just went in to get her 4 month shots. She did pretty well only cried for a little bit. She now weighs 16.7 pounds and is 25 inches long. She is in the 90% for height and 70% for weight so she is evening out now so thats good. Also while we were there Kevin and I were able to get our Swine Flu shots. I was pretty happy about that since I work at a daycare and germs go around like crazy! Well Alex will be able to get hers the nest time she goes in.

Oh other news I heard from my little bro J Moose and he said he is doing great! He said he wrecked on his bike and flew over the handle bars. It is pretty funny!

Oh and Alex is starting to grab at everything!!

So Kevin has been looking for a new job for quite some time now. The job he has now with Provo City is ending on Thursday. He has had a few interviews but nothing has happened yet. He had a interview last Thursday with a company out in Genola, it went pretty well and it is a pretty good job, so we are hoping and praying he hears back from it. They said he should know by Tuesday! I am praying he gets it. Then we will be able to start getting back on our feet. These last few months have been pretty hard but I am greatful for all of our wonderful friends and family that have been so helpful and kind to us. So thank you all!!

Today was Alex's first Halloween and as you can tell she was a Pumpkin. It was so cute! It was a little too big for her but I liked it. Of course we didn't go trick or treating seeing as how she can not have the candy yet and I dont need anymore candy, but it was sure fun to dress her up. Next year I will have to get myself and costume and take her out to Trunk or Treat.

My little princess is 4 months old today! I cannot believe how fast time goes, she is such a smart little girl. She can already pretty much sit up by herself. She also loves to stand up with our help of course, but when holding our fingers she can pull herself up its amazing how fast she is learning. Oh and can I say what a chatter box. She is always talking it is so adorable I always talk back to her and we can have long conversations in baby talk it is so fun. Oh and I have to say she has the cutest laugh. When she laughs it makes me laugh so hard it is so stinkin cute!! I love my little girl! Last time she got weighed she was 16 Pounds and 3 ounces she sure is a chunk. I love it! My little girl is perfect in every way!! I love her!

Since im a stay at home mom "which I love by the way!" I take a ton of pictures of my little girl. This is just one showing how strong she is at 2 and a half months. She loves to hold herself up, which is kinda funny because she is not a fan of tummy time. She gets really mad lol. Well a lot of people say she has the temper of a red head, and she has a little red in her hair so it all fits. But holy cow can she get mad! All the doctors at the pediatricians office were amazed of how loud and mad she can get. Its great. Although sometimes not so fun.

So Alex is now 3 months old. Its cray how fast time goes. She is such a smart girl and is very strong for her age. She is holding her head up all by herself and trying to sit up by herself also. Whenever I lay her down she starts doing crunches and gets mad if I don't sit her back up. She also loves to stand up, with our help of course. When we went in for her 2 month appointment she was almost 14 pounds and was in the 90th percentile for everything. She is doing fantastic!!
The last couple of night she has decided to wake up at 4 am. Usually she eats and goes right back to sleep but these last couple of nights she is wide awake and it takes me about an hour to get her back to sleep. Its just so fun! lol. I love my little girl! She is so stinkin adorable, oh and i think she might be starting to teethe a little bit. Im not sure though but she is drooling like crazy and she loves to chew on her fingers and anything else she gets a hold of.

My little Alex is getting so big! I can't believe how fast time goes but at the same time I still feel like I had her yesterday its crazy! Well she is almost 2 months old now and she is so freakin adorable!! Last time I checked she already weighed about 12 pounds Im excited to go into her next appointment and see how big she is now.
She is such a great baby I mean sure she has her moments but all in all she is wonderful. It took me a while to get the hang of being a mom but I love it and I am so greatful I get to stay home with my little girl.
She is beginning to smile and it is so cute! I cant wait for her to start laughing. She is learning so many new things and I love her so much!!

The other day Kevin, Alex and I all went to Payson Lake with Kevin family. It was really fun we got to go in the Kayak Kevin and I bought a while back. We also go to go in a canoe.

It was a blast!!

We played frisbee back and forth between the Kayak and the Canoe.

Alex also had a good time looking aroung and seeing all the new stuff.

I jumped in the water and let me tell you it was cold.

It was tons of fun and Im glad we got to go out and have some fun!

This is our little announcement for our Wonderful little girl Alex Rose Palmer. Born on my birthday June 29th 2009, at 5:14pm She was 7 pounds and 10 ounces and 19 inches long.
I love my little girl with all my heart!!
We had her 2 week doctors appointment yesturday she now weighs 9 pounds and 6 ounces and is 21 inches long. The doctors are amazed that she is already about 2 pounds heavier then when she was born!! She is Thriving!! Kevin and I are both extrememly lucky and so happy to have our little girl!!

So we have gotten a few newborn pictures taken and oh my goodness she is an angel!! She just laid there sleeping while our friend was taking the pictures! Anyway this was Kevin's favorite one and I have to say I love it too!! Its so cute to watch Kevin with his daughter. He loves her so much. At night when we are about to put her to bed he always wants to hold her just a little longer. He is such a wonderful daddy. He also helps me at night when I can't get her to sleep, he loves cuddling with her!!
I am so greatful I got such a wonderful man who is such a great daddy!! I am so greatful for my wonderful little family. Life is just so great!! I am in such a wonderful spot and I love it!!!
